Crisis aside, planning a celebration can already be a stressful situation for clients, and adding a global pandemic to the equation maximizes anxiety. Many times, there is no “ideal” option, which can prove to be devastating for a client to accept. In this deep-dive, Leah marries academia with the event industry to explore the intricacies of psychology and how it factors into navigating events for clients during this difficult time. When we can better understand our clients, we are able to elevate our client experience and make a lasting impression.
During this session, attendees will learn
- Understanding the underlying causes of consumer behavior during crisis
- Postponements- why it can be good for business but tough on clients
- A case for adding levity, when possible- and how to do so with aplomb
- Steps for providing advice and guidance above and beyond what your service offers- and why it pays back in dividends
