NACE Philadelphia combined history, food, and networking into our January 2017 meeting when we met at the Independence Visitor Center in Old City.
During the event, NACE members and their guests enjoyed meeting each other and "talking shop" at cocktail hour. They were free to roam the halls of the Visitor Center, which was lined with illustrations and artifacts from our nation's founding. Who knew a cocktail hour could be so educational?
Afterward, everyone sat down to a guided dinner pairing, where Brûlée Catering expertly matched several delicious courses with local spirits from some of Philadelphia's best distilleries.
The theme of the evening was "Buy Local", so guests enjoyed being able to sample creative cocktails made by local distilleries, food prepared by one of the city's most well-known caterers, and even cups of coffee brewed by Philadelphia's very own La Colombe.
The entire event was a huge success, and everyone walked away with plenty of new industry contacts, full bellies, and a wealth of new knowledge about the history of our country. Thanks to everyone who attended this event!
